Hello Judit! I can understand why you choosed this title :-) The reflections from the buildings looks beautiful in the water. Nice buildings. I have never seen them. To me it seems like the picture is too heavy to the left side, but I guess I'm wrong there...It is not my strongest side...;-) Horizons are more easy to see in that case.

Desverre litt utbrent i høylys.

Ålesund is not far away from my home town. :) That's a very beautiful photograph. I really love the colours and the lights as a contrast to the dark and rather depressing sky.

I have posted the original version to show the real status at 12:04, before a heavy rain shower on Friday a week ago :) I do like that phenomenon when the houses light in the darkness.

Synnøve: I agree and you are absolutely right; Ålesund is the nicest town in Norway or at least its style is the closest to my architectural taste. I am so lucky to spend there a longer term next spring with 3 of my students working on an EU project cooperating with Jugendstilsenteret ... :)

Well like Ine are Ålesund not fare away froom my home town neither.
but now i live in Bergen. I like best V1 becase it have better colors.
I think it`s one of the most beutefule city in norway.
I can only be agreed whit them other.
